Topic: Mucoadhesive In Situ Forming Gel for Oral Mucositis Pain Control

Tingting Li is a Ph.D. candidate (Pharmaceutics) in Dr. Diane Burgess’s lab at the University of Connecticut. Tingting received her Bachelor’s degree (Pharmacy) and Master’s degree (Pharmaceutics) from Shandong University in China. Tingting’s graduate research at the University of Connecticut focuses on development and optimization of mucoadhesive in situ forming gels and spray dried mucoadhesive microparticles. She has been working with many mucoadhesive excipients for different formulations. Tingting has 10 papers published, has filed one patent application, and has made 8 poster presentations. With special interests in novel drug delivery systems, Tingting is keen on applying her knowledge and experiences to development and formulation of various drug products after graduation.
